Constitution & Bye-Laws
The Union Bank Pensioners & Retirees Association Maharashtra State (UBPARA MS) is governed by its Constitution, Rules & Regulations, and Memorandum of Association. These documents define the objectives, membership criteria, governance structure, and operational guidelines of the association.
The Association is registered under the Indian Societies Act, 1860 (Regd. No. Maha/965/2018/Pune dated 14.12.2018) and under the Charity Act (Regi. No. F-54577/Pune dated 29.9.2020).

Proposed Amendments to Bye-Laws
Approved in the Triennial General Body Meeting held on 15.12.2021
Name Change: The name of the association was amended from "Union Bank Pensioners & Retirees Association M.S. (Excluding Mumbai)" to "Union Bank Pensioners & Retirees Association Maharashtra State", as the area of operation now covers the entire state of Maharashtra.
Merger Inclusion: Following the merger of Corporation Bank and Andhra Bank with Union Bank of India on 01.04.2020, provisions were added to maintain harmony among pensioners from all merged entities and to admit retirees from these banks as members.
Eligibility Expansion: Membership eligibility was expanded to include dismissed employees of Union Bank of India and its merged entities, subject to approval by the Executive Committee.
Area of Operation: The area of operation was clarified to cover the entire state of Maharashtra, removing the earlier exclusion of the Mumbai region.

Objectives
To protect the rights and safeguard the interests of all pensioners and retirees of Union Bank of India in Maharashtra State.
Membership
Open to all retired employees, pensioners, and family pensioners of Union Bank of India (including erstwhile Corporation Bank & Andhra Bank).
Governance
Managed by an elected Executive Committee consisting of Chairman, President, Vice Presidents, General Secretary, Joint Secretaries, Treasurer, and CC Members.
Elections
Elections to the Executive Committee are held every three years through the Triennial General Body Meeting.
